In developing the Social Follow button, we had to take into consideration many details from the optimization of the coding to functionality. In this I’m going to lay out the simplicity of getting started with the Social Follow button.

The flow works like this:

1. User creates an account on SocialFollow.com

2. The user goes to the create button page and fills in all their links to their social sites. Then click Create Button at the bottom of the page.

3. You will see a pop up with some code in it. Copy and paste this code to your website, wherever you want the button to appear.

That’s it!

The button will now show up on your website displaying the social sites you put links for. If you want to update your button later, go back to the create button page and you will see the social sites you already listed there. Add any additional links or delete any you want to remove. It’s as simple as that.

The button can be 1 column or 2 depending on the number of links you want in your button. You get the 1 column button for 1-7 links and that looks like this for example:

Then if you want 8-14 or more buttons you will our 2 column button which looks like this:

The Social Follow button was built to require very little code and be optimized to load quickly on websites, this is done as well. The button is a few lines of code and loads instantly on websites.

Social Following is when people are actively searching your social networks to get more of an understanding of you as a person. In doing this, people get to know you on more of a personal level, which can result in increased business.

When Social Following is properly managed, visitors to your site(s) feel more inclined to use you when seeking out someone to solve whatever problem they are trying to solve. This is because you provided them an easy way to get to know you as a real human vs. Bob, the VP for Administrative Affairs in Diplomatic Affairs (ok, maybe the title is a little extreme). Nonetheless, when executed properly, a Social Following strategy can make the difference between a product that sells 20 units and one that sells millions.

Social Follow’s button allows you to have all social networks in one button.
